All wood materials were removed and rebuilt in Coosa (composite and fiberglass blend) that does not absorb moisture. The leather interior of the ceilings and seats replaced.
The carpet was removed and replaced with Flexiteak, which is easy to clean and does not absorb moisture and can also be sanded if there is a need to clean scratches. The boat was completely wrapped.

Description: The history of this vessel, built in an English shipyard, is like an adventure novel because it was born in 1917 as a support boat for an America's Cup in England and then ended up in Italy in the hands of a Sardinian coral worker thanks to his English partner who had inherited it from an uncle. She was registered in Italy and renovated by the Carolini Mario shipyard of Trieste in 1946 and then transferred to Sardinia where the coral worker installed a small hyperbaric chamber for decompression after coral fishing. After having had several owners, the last owner's glance, fascinated by the stupendous knife-shaped bow, began a profound restoration operation, from 2007 to 2010, carried out with great skill on Lake Como. For the engine, a light and powerful 110 HP Yanmar was chosen with an electronic control lever from Indemar and to facilitate maneuvers on the dock, an electric bow thruster from Vetus (Bow Thruster) was installed. The instrumentation is essential but complete: a sonar, a VHF radio, a stainless steel compass, an electric lighthouse on the bow and of course a comfortable windlass. The construction tradition was carried out with fine woods and with the technological spirit of modern times. Restoration and renovation go hand in hand in order to provide charm and comfort to a boat, which after a century of life, always excites and excites, today as it did then. It comes with a custom-made cover for the entire hull and several awnings for the bridge and the stern room.
